A Medieval to Post-medieval uniface lead token decorated with a simple cross. Considerably damaged.Lead tokens are enigmatic are hard to date, but simple crosses may have been imitating Edwardian coinage, or simply represented an unknown object or quantity during later periods where they are assumed to be agricultural tallies.
