An incomplete and extremely worn early medieval strap end belonging to Thomas' Class A1 and of probable 9th century date. The strapend tapers to a point and a zoomorphic terminal can just be seen, with flattened ears. The body is decorated with a very worn panel of interlace and a possible Trewhiddle animal. The attachment end is missing.
