A corroded cast copper alloy Post Medieval double looped buckle,c. 1550-1700 AD. The buckle frame measures 24.66mm long and 20.16mm wide. The loops are trapezoidal,widening towards the outer edges. The upper surfaces are bevelled externally and the reverse face is flat. The narrowed pin bar has a knop at each end with the pin intact. Cf. Whitehead 2003, p80; examples dating to c. 1570-1700 AD.
