The clasp consists of a sub-rectangular plate which extends at the base, terminating in a wide, backward-facing hook. At the other end a narrow lug terminates in an irregular shaped cross bar, possible how the fitting was attached. The upper surface bears decoration, both incised and stamped; in side a pellet boarder there are two zig zag lines, some cross hatching ans stamped diamond shapes, all of which are crudely done.
