The mount takes the form of a convex oval plate with slightly concave back . It has egg-shaped centre flanked by constrictions at top and bottom from which expand fan or shell shaped terminals. There is a larger terminal at the wider end of the central plate and a smaller one at the point. The terminals are decorated with incised radiating lines on the front and indents on the outer edge. Extending from the reverse are two integral attachment spikes. They are circular in section and both have old breaks near the start with only stubs remaining. Compare SOM-CBFD40.
