The buckle is oval looped and has a small oval integral plate which terminates in a circular knop which has an integrally cast rivet/stud on the reverse for attachment. There is a circular hole for the pin, now missing. The surface patina is missing through abrasion and corrosion. The buckle measures 26.26 mm long, 14.1 mm wide, 2.65 mm thick and weighs 2.1 grams.
