A complete cast lead spindle whorl of medieval to post-medieval date. The spindle whorl is plano-convex with a large central perforation running through it. Only one side of the spindle whorl is decorated with raised pellets around the edge although in places these pellets are possibly missing due to wear
The metal is a light creamy-white colour and is worn. The spindle whorl is 25.70mm in diameter, 11.33mm thick and weighs 32.55gms
