A fragment from the rim of a cast, copper alloy clapper bell, probably dating from the post-medieval period, 1500-1800AD. The rim flares outwards slightly, and is thickened on the inside. The fragment displays a light green patina. It is 76.35mm long, 38.04mm wide and 2.01mm thick. It weighs 38.04gm.The diameter was measured using a rim chart and is 19cm.
