A body fragment from an early Roman broad, flat bracelet. The fragment is roughly rectangular, broken at both ends.. It is fairly flat in profile, with a rectangular cross-section. The upper surface is decorated longitudinally along the body featuring a central pair of double incised bands, bordered by plain raised bands. the edges are decorated by diagonal etched lines(cf. Stead and Rigby 1986, 126; ref. 166). The back is plain. At Baldock such broad bracelets were found in contexts beginning with Neronian. The object has a mid-green patina.
