JETTON
Unique ID: SWYOR-112DF7
Object type certainty: Probably
A fragment of a probable copper alloy jetton that is likely Medieval in date. The edges are severely worn and less than half of the object has survived but some of the design is visible on one side - possibly a double-stranded arcuate cross fleuretty with a pellet in each angle. The material has a dark green patina which has been scratched revealing brass beneath. The reverse is severely corroded and any design is now illegible.
