A cast copper-alloy stud mount of Medieval date, c. 1250-1350.

The mount is a simple cruciform quatrefoil, D-shaped in section and cast in a thin sheet. A rivet with a square backing plate also remains fixed to the mount.

Similar examples have been found in excavations in London.
