Fragment of a cast copper alloy probable Post Medieval clapper bell or open bell. All that remains is the sub oval suspension loop or handle, with circular opening and below this a fragment of the domed top of the bell. The metal appears to have a high tin and or lead content and is silvery in appearance with very rough edges along the breaks.

Bells of this type are typically dated c.1600-1800.
