A lead alloy token or counter, dating from the medieval period. The token is uniface, the design being an equal-armed cross in the centre of one face with a border of multiple lines surrounding it. The token is complete but is slightly bent. Token of this type date from c. AD 1350 to 1500, and may be related to monastic production and control over goods and services (see Fletcher 2005:22).
