A very worn Medieval Scottish silver cut half (voided) short cross penny, probably of Alexander II (1214-1249 AD). 'Short cross and stars' coinage, Phase D; S 5035-5038. Although the obverse is illegible, the reverse shows half of the voided short cross, with a star in each quadrant; the legend is illegible.
