Obverse: Vague head outline possibly right. Inscription: Illegible. Reverse: Blank, nothing visible. Inscription: Illegible. The coin is extremely worn and in poor condition. The circular flan has nibbled edges due to corrosion and a pale green, loose, flaky corroded surface with just a few patches of matt pale brown original surface remaining mainly on the reverse. This probably due to the coin being found in water logged ground. This coin is likely to date to 43-250AD. Ref. Coins of England and the UK, Spink 2011, page 50-57. The coin is 30.07mm long, 28.67mm wide, 3.43mm thick, diameter 30.07mm and weighs 11.9g.","West Kent Detector Club co-operative effort with West Kent Archaeological Society and Darent Valley Archaeological Project.
