A fragment of a Medieval cast copper-alloy single looped buckle (c. 1350-c. 1400 AD).
This fragment comprises part of the outer edge and one rounded knop.

10.17 x 12.83 x 4.82mm. Weight: 1.55g.
This fragment is corroded and has a patchy dark green patina.

It is very similar to a buckle from London and dated c. 1340-1400 (Egan & Pritchard 1991: 74, fig. 44, ref: 299).
