An edge trimmed and notched flake which has been uni-facially retouched and expediently made.
The left margin of the dorsal face exhibits partial retouch with a low angle and is of edge type extent. Continuous, low retouch of edge extent is present at the distal end.
A single notch has been created midway along the left margin whilst two further notches are present on the right margin.
Snapping has occurred at the distal end and left margin intersect.
Butler (2005) illustrates a similar example on p131, Fig 55, 4 which dates to the Early Neolithic.
