An incomplete copper-alloy Sawfish brooch dating to the early Roman period. Only the lower half remains. The bow is D-shaped in cross-section and decorated with a rib down the centre and a ridge on both perimeters. The edge of the bow is serrated. The foot is half-rounded with a flat base. A catchplate is located on the reverse. The brooch shows evidence of silvering or tinning.
