An incomplete cast copper-alloy trumpet brooch of early Roman date, c. 75-200.
The brooch is very worn, missing the foot and spring pin. The head is intact, complete with the loop for holding the spring pin in place on the reverse. The bow is decorated with moulded collars in half-round.
