Two very worn fragments of a silver penny of Eadmund, King of All England (939-946 AD). Bust crowned Type; cf. North 1994 Vol I, No. 698. Moneyer and mint: Eadgar in Norwich.

Obverse: Crowned bust right.

Reverse: Small cross pattee in centre.

Reverse Legend:[EAD]GAR Mo NoRĐWT

Notes:

During the processing of this find, an additional small fragment of the coin broke off. This is due to the severe fragility of the coin fragments.
