The mount is probably a fragment of a larger object, made from a cast sheet of copper alloy. The remaining portion consists of a cruciform terminal with three fanshaped lobes emerging from the end of a rectangular arm. Each lobe has a triangular projection in the middle of its outer edge, though the projection of the central lobe (opposite the arm) is missing. A circular perforation can be seen at the base of each projection and where the arm joins the lobes. A cracked bend can also be seen on the arm near the perforation, and an abraded tear and a crimping of the metal suggest further bending at the opposite end of the arm.","","","2012-01-26 15:31:42","2012-01-27 11:59:00","4","","1","2011-10-05","2011-11-08","","","","1","1","1","1","","","1","3","","rcollins","Robert Collins","NCL","rcollins","Robert Collins","Copper alloy","","","","Cast","","Fragment","Poor","Certain","MEDIEVAL","MEDIEVAL","","Metal detector","","Dr Robert Collins","","Dr Robert Collins","NORTH YORKSHIRE","KIRKBY FLEETHAM WITH FENCOTE","HAMBLETON","","","","SE2995","SE2995","SE29NE","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","366837","IMG_8993.jpg","images/rcollins/",
