The object is curved in profile and an elongated drop-shape in plan. The tapered end has an abraded break, while the opposite end appears to be a corroded but complete terminal. In section, the oebject is D-shaped.
The object appears to be a bracelet, and the metalwork and form (albeit corroded) is consistent with bracelets of Early Medieval date.
