A complete, Early-mid Roman, struck or hammered, copper alloy, sestertius. Obverse: Possible vague head outline. Inscription: Illegible. Reverse: Probable central figure. Inscription: Illegible. Die axis: probably 12 o'clock. The coin is slightly 'squared', circular, flat but is in poor condition, extremely worn with a very corroded surface and nibbled edges. There is a loose or flaky pale green coloured matt surface probably as a result of being found in water logged ground. This coin is likely to date to 43-250AD. Ref.
