A cast copper-alloy key (locking) terminal of Medieval date, c. 1250-1500.

Only the terminal remains, and this was cast as an openwork quatrefoil with a collared base. The break of the stem occurs at the base of the collar. The terminal is very worn and has suffered from considerable corrosion.
