{"recordID":"482924","finds":[{"created2":"2012 01 20","description":"<p>An incomplete, cast, copper-alloy candlestick of late Medieval-Post-Medieval date<em>, c<\/em>. 1400-1550.<\/p>\n<p>The candlestick consists of a large, but incomplete socket and an integral projecting shank on its base that would have fitted into a socket of branching arm or base to hold the candlestick. The socket tapers very slightly from the rim to the base, and the whole object is cast solid.
