A late Early Medieval copper-alloy harness fitting, probably a cheek-piece. The fitting is symmetrical, having a lozenge-shaped loop at both ends, both having a small moulded knop in each angle. The two loops are joined by a central bar, triangular in cross-section and having a boss in the centre. The boss is circular with a collar to either side and a knop in the centre.
