WEIGHT

Unique ID: NCL-947053

Object type certainty: Certain

A cast lead weight of Medieval to Post-Medieval date.

The weight is conical, with a multi-facetted surface, slightly irregular in its casting. The base is slightly convex. A circular perforation runs through the body of the weight from the apex of the cone to the centre of its base, and this probably too an iron or copper-alloy suspension loop.
