A cast copper alloy Medieval vessel handle fragment. It is approximately rectangular with an oval section, tapering to its terminal which is curved downward. the opposite terminal is incomplete due to old breaks. The handle is smooth from wear, and measures 42.66mm in length, 19.13mm in width at its incomplete edge, 8.5mm in width at its tip, and varies in thickness from 4.35mm to 10.45mm. It weighs 38.26g.
This fragment was found in association with SF-439B77, and other copper alloy fragments were also noted by the finder at the same findspot.
