A medieval hammered silver penny, mint of London. The obverse has a crowned facing bust and the legend: EDWA R ANGL DNS HYB. The reverse has a long cross with three pellets in each angle and the legend: CIVTAS LONDON. The coin appears to belong to North class 10-13 (AD 1307-1314), and was struck at the end of the reign of Edward I or the start of Edward II's.
