A two-dimensional cast lead object in the form of a curled beast. The beast is roughly oval in plan, D-shaped in cross-section and curled so that the tail is near the snout. Although the beast resembles the shape of a shrimp or prawn the body and head are much more serpent-like. The head is sub-triangular and decorated with a moulded pellet or an eye, and radiating lines from this perhaps representing scales. The slender body is decorated with a row of large moulded pellets within a moulded perimeter line. The reverse is flat, undecorated and has no signs of any attachments.<\/p>\n
