A worn Anglo-Saxon copper-alloy strap end of late 9th or 10th century date (Treasure reference number 2012 T35). The strap end is tongue shaped in plan and sub-rectangular in cross-section. The attachment end is missing and no features survive on the terminal. The body is decorated with a sub-rectangular sheet of silver with a bifurcated terminal.
