A copper alloy fragment from a purse bar of late Medieval to Post Medieval date. The fragment consists of the central block of the purse bar, with a short section of circular sectioned bar projecting from one side, and the rivet of the swivelling loop surviving in the vertical hole through the block. The loop itself is missing, as is the rest of the bar and the frame. Compare LIN-8B8AB1, LANCUM-BB1E80 and LIN-85F3C2. The purse probably dates from 1400 - 1550.
