COIN

Unique ID: LIN-5D3512

Object type certainty: Certain

A gold uninscribed British 'I' stater dating to the late Iron Age, cf Hobbs no. 204.

Notes:

This coin was discovered close to the hoard of gold staters from Stixwould recorded as Treasure reference number 2008 T489, but not close enough to be certain of a direct relationship between the two. The spread of the original hoard as recorded by GPS by FLO also argues against this coin being part of the original hoard. This coin has therefore not been recorded as an addenda to 2008 T489.
