A complete, Post-Medieval, sheet lead whirligig or buzz disc/wheel of probable 17th to 18th century date. The toy consists of a disc with a serrated outer edge and two string holes. The serrations are uneven and crudely cut.
Notes:
A similar toy can be seen in Egan and Forsyth 2005: 387-391 from London and an archaeological context dated 1675-1700.
