Flint flake, elongated ovoid in plan and splinter shaped in profile. The dorsal side has a convex surface with a central mesial ridge. The distal end is blunt and the proximal end both snapped and abraded. The right margin has a serrated edge and the left margin a notch worked mid way. On the ventral side there is a visible bulb of percussion by the proximal end with small flake removal.
The flint is semi translucent and fawn with an opaque oatmeal tip in colouring.
Butler (2005) illustrates a similar example on page 186, Fig. 76, No. 10 which is dated to the Bronze Age period.
