A rim fragment of a post medieval borderware with yellow glaze vessel. The fragment contains part of the protruding rim of the vessel, and part of the side wall. The outside of the vessel is glazed with a dark yellow. The outside is unglazed apart from a rough bordering line around the edge of the rim. It measures 116.5mm (length) x 43.7mm (width) x 5.2mm (thickness) and weighs 52.20g.
Surrey/Hampshire borderware dates to c. 1550 to 1700 AD.
