The flat frame has a hexagonal opening; the frame is c. 3.6mm across. An external notch provided the pin constriction; the pin is missing and there is no pin rest (groove). The frame is decorated on its upper surface with a single row of pellets set within sunken rectangular strips; some begin to travel off the edge of the frame. The metal has corroded to a dark-grey colour, with some off-white corrosion product. Brooches with this decoration and of a comparable size have been recorded on this database, e.g. refs. SF-4E4121, BERK-CA6CA5. Similar decorative treatment can be seen on brooches of other form, for example lozengiform (cf. HAMP-E6AAF6) on this database; this also has an external notch.","","","2011-12-21 15:09:06","2011-12-22 12:02:00","4","","1","","2011-11-02","","","","1","1","1","1","","","","","","rwebley","Robert Webley","HAMP","rwebley","Robert Webley","Copper alloy","","","","Cast","","Incomplete","","Certain","MEDIEVAL","","","Metal detector","","Mr Robert Webley","","Mr Robert Webley","HAMPSHIRE","BASINGSTOKE","BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE","","","","SU6155","SU6155","SU65NW","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","","361427","HAMP-1F68F2annularbrooch.jpg","images/rwebley/",
