A commemorative nummus of the House of Constantine dating to the period AD 333 to 335. VRBS ROMA type. Mint of Alexandria. RIC VII, p. 712, no. 63.

Notes:

This is an extremely rare coin in a Romano-British context - coins minted in Alexandria are unusual finds in this country. This is the first example to be recorded by the PAS.

This is a find of note and has been designated: For inclusion in British Numismatic Journal ‘Coin Register’
