The nodule is roughly rectangular in plan, oval in cross-section and comma shaped in profile. The concave side is covered with a brown coloured cortex. Flake scars run between 60 and 70mm in length and have been taken from both ends. The flint is dark brown in colour. Possibly Mesolithic given the length of the blades being knapped.
