<full>An incomplete, Medieval to Early Post Medieval, cast, copper alloy, cooking vessel foot probably from a cauldron. This foot has three toes or one mid rib with a wide triangular cross&#45;section. One of the lower corners appears to have broken off or due to poor casting was missing when made. There are the remnants of black lacquer on the front and base and a pale green corroded surface. This foot is likely to date to 1200&#45;1600. Ref. History Beneath Our Feet, Brian Read, Anglia Publishing, Ipswich 1995, page 94&#45;96 no. 585, 589 &amp; 600 and Detector Finds 3, Gordon Bailey, Greenlight Publishing 1997, page 36&#45;37 no. 5. This foot measures 37.93mm long, 44.95mm wide, 24.85mm thick and weighs 92.8g.</full>
