A cast copper-alloy buckle, c. 1660-1720.

The buckle is double-framed and convex. The frame is oval in plan with simple moulded decoration and a separately fixed crossbar. The crossbar retains the pin and a subtriangular chape missing the mushroom-shaped stud at the end.
