A cast spherical 'crotal' bell of Post-Medieval date, c. 1600-1800.
The bell has been case in one piece, with a projecting square suspension loop at the top and a band around it centre circumference. A circular perforation can be found on opposite faces of the top half in line with the perforation of the suspension loop. The lower half has a single opening formed by a rectangular slot with circular terminals. A metal bean is found inside the bell.
