This is a notched and backed blade. The distal point has some gloss and is abraded through use. The dorsal face has a flattened medial ridge down most of its length, but there has been retouch at the proximal end. The left margin retains minimal secondary cortex and the proximal third of the margin has been blunted by abrupt retouch. The opposite margin has a notch retouched from the ventral face with semi-abrupt pressure from the ventral face. The bulb is visible.
It has been made on a dark grey flint with light grey flecks, probably derived from a local beach pebble, with secondary cortex.
Bond (2004) illustrates a similar piece on P 135, Fig 5.121 No F54, which he places in the later Neolithic.
