A fragment of an Anglo-Saxon cruciform brooch, c. 475-600.
Only the foot remains, from an undecorated flat panel with a double collar and horsehead terminal. The nostrils of the horsehead terminal are small scrolls. The reverse of the panel retains the base of the catchplate.
