<full>A post medieval pewter spoon knop fragment, with the stump of the shaft attached. The knop is a cube with each corner removed, so there are 14 faces on the knop (one is hidden by the shaft). On the shaft, which is cylindrial, are three incised lines directly next to the knop. The fragment measures 26.6mm (length) x 11.2mm (width of knop) x 4.8mm (diameter of shaft) and weighs 11.39g.
Complete spoons can be found in Egan (2005, p.110&#45;117), which are dated to c.1500 to 1700 AD.</full>
