The frame has one oval and one rectangular loop. The inner side of the outer edge of the oval loop is widened creating a pin rest. The strap bar is narrowed and recessed from the front of the frame. A very similar frame can be seen in Whitehead (2003:91 No.569) which he dates to c.1575-1700. The frame is 37.28mm long, 26.92mm wide, 2.01mm thick and weighs 3.5 grams.
