A Post medieval cast copper alloy double loop asymmetrical buckle frame. The frame has one oval and one rectangular loop. The inner side of the outer edge of the oval loop is widened creating a pin rest. The strap bar is narrowed and recessed from the front of the frame. A very similar frame can be seen in Whitehead (2003:91 No.569) which he dates to c.1575-1700. The frame is 37.28mm long, 26.92mm wide, 2.01mm thick and weighs 3.5 grams.
