A cast copper alloy brooch pin length 40.42mm, width 5.62mm, thickness 4.39mm, weight 2.4g. the pin has the remains of a moulded penannular loop, immediately before which is a ridge in the top side of the pin. The pin has a circular cross section shaft, which is truncated near the tip. This would have been found on annular brooches that date to the 13th-14th century.
