<full>A complete cast copper alloy double looped buckle frame, with pointed ends. There is no pin recess and the pin is missing. The strap bar terminates with lobed protrusions on either end.  The buckle frame is complete.  The buckle is a dark greyish&#45;brown colour and the surface is very pitted. These buckles date from circa 1600 &#45; 1700.  Parallels for this type of buckle can be seen in Whitehead, 2003, p82.</full>
