The outer face of the hoop has ten panels all separated by three parallel transverse ribs. Each panel contains a single letter of the inscription: 
+AVE MARIA G (Ave Maria Gracia)
The cross is in the form of a cross potent. 
Diameter: 25.1mm; width of hoop: 4.1mm; thickness of hoop: 1.8mm. Weight: 2.45g.

Discovery: Found by David Clark while metal-detecting in October 2011 and recorded by Frank Basford (Isle of Wight FLO).
